the two people in this painting show affection through masked clothes. A very symbolic peice showing many inturpritations through only the covered heads of two figures. One inturpritation could be that they don't care what they look like and still love each other. Another could be that the are blindly loving and not thinking while showing affection. One may also take an abstract approach in saying that this is a sexist painting, showing how this man is taller than the woman stating that they are not equalin some stature.
